Treasured Tresses is Rebranding!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

This verse came to mind as I began brainstorming how to break the news with my Treasured Tresses family. As many of you know, Treasured Tresses launched in April 2025 with the vision of combining our braiding and crocheting services. My dream was to create a lifestyle boutique: a salon paired with a clothing store. However, during the licensing process, I learned that these were considered two separate entities. Inland Revenue didn’t have a category for my combined concept, and that reality became clear when I started drafting a business plan. Investors love innovation, and I struggled to see how hairstyling alone could fit that mold.

On top of that, I realized how physically draining hairstyling for me. Standing for eight hours left me exhausted, even though I loved seeing my clients happy and confident. I came across a video where someone shared that braiding was just their starting point—not their long-term goal—and that resonated deeply. I felt the same way. While I could train someone to replicate my techniques, they could never replicate me. My clients trust not just my hands, but my heart. They feel safe, heard, and valued, and that’s something I treasure.

Will I continue offering private hairstyling? That’s still to be determined and will be communicated privately to my clients. For now, though, we are officially separating braiding and crocheting.

With this separation comes a fresh start. Creations Beyond Compare (aka Creyonare) has been rebranded with a new look, updated website design, refreshed brand colors, and exciting new products launching soon! We’re doing things differently, and we’re thrilled for you to join us on this journey.
